Whose Report Will You Believe?

There is an assignment of the enemy that has been dispatched across this nation to get God’s people to lose confidence in the Lord and be overwhelmed by how things “appear” in the moment. This enemy tactic is nothing new and is aimed at getting you to agree with unbelief and fear so that you will be “dis - couraged”. Discouragement is the vehicle for passivity. Israel experienced this when 10 spies out of 12 gave a bad report from spying out the land of their inheritance. Believing the bad report caused the Israelites to miss out on entering into the land of the their inheritance in that moment, delaying it for a long time.

Today, as God’s people, our response must be the same as Caleb’s response to the bad report of the ten other spies,

“Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will surely overcome it.””

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭13:30‬ ‭NASB

We are men and women of a different Spirit. Our heart posture is confident trust in the Lord and faith in Him regardless of what our eyes see. We walk by faith, not by sight and our God is Majestic and all powerful.

So, lift up your eyes and look to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. Be overwhelmed with the majesty and power of Jesus. Behold the King of Glory! Let your mind be renewed and your being strengthened in the Lord.

The victory has been won!!! We have a received an unshakeable King and Kingdom and in Him, we will not shrink back, but we will advance on the gates of Hell and they will not withstand us!

Don’t give in, but stand firm in the Lord and the power of His might! When the world mocks you and the enemy pokes at you and asks you “Whose report will you believe?” Today, let your answer be full of faith and confidence in the Lord. Let it ring from the mountain tops,

“I believe the report of the Lord!”
