Living In Christ

Living In Christ

There are some days that we feel invincible, and other days we feel raw and vulnerable and that’s okay. What isn’t okay is when we allow how we feel, to dictate to us how we will live and how we will love. It always is such a wonder to me how daily we are invited to recognize Gods goodness and love, His comfort and his peace even in the middle of all our “feelings”. The reality is is that regardless of how we feel, we live, move and have our being IN Him, not our feelings. God is always good! Feeling don’t change God’s nature or character, nor do our circumstances. As Believers, we accepted the initial invitation into Christ when we got saved, but the truth is that we also have to learn how to live our daily lives in Him, walking by faith and trust. Unfortunately, many believers are still waiting to live.

Jesus is more than enough, He always supplies and provides, He makes us more than conquerors, He gives us the strength, boldness and courage to face our giants, He is the source from which we receive life. It is the shift in mindset from living in our own strength to total trust and dependency on the Lord, that everything comes into proper perspective. Don’t let the enemy steal your strength by choosing to live in your emotions. Instead, remember that Christ the Hope of Glory dwells in you; He is the one true constant and you plus Him ALWAYS equals the majority. Set your mind on Him, invite Him in to your feelings and circumstances. Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see Him In the midst of the storm and watch things change. For it is only in Jesus that we truly live, move and have our being!
