An Open Letter To All Believers

Either the blood of Jesus is enough or it isn’t. If Jesus’ blood is enough to save you from your sin, set you free from death, and graft you into the family of God where Jesus robed you in righteousness, then it is enough to do that for anyone.... that’s right ANYONE!! I’m tired of the hypocrisy that says God can save me, and give me mercy, but you... no way your sin is too great. We do this to many public figures whose laundry is out for all the world to see, we do this to our next-door neighbor with whom we become so familiar that we can’t see past their faults, we do this with anyone who we want to find fault with, the family member that is like a black sheep... over and over we can see the pattern of this thinking play out. Friends, THIS IS A DECEPTION AND HYPOCRISY. We may not like the other person and their past may be horrible and egregious... ( hello Paul who was once Saul and murdered Christians), but we ARE NOT GOD and we don’t get to decide who is worthy of saving. God already stated that He so loved the WORLD that he gave His only Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in whim will not perish but have everlasting life. JN 3:16

Friends, God did not die for whom we deem worthy, thank you Jesus for that! If you are following leaders who tell you that’s someone else’s past sin is too great to overcome after they have believed in and confessed Jesus as their Lord and Savior, you are being LED ASTRAY!!! Check the Bible, check the blood of Jesus which is SUFFICIENT for all of us. If the blood of Jesus can’t cleanse that person’s sin whom you have deemed unworthy, then it won’t be enough to cleanse yours. Again this thinking that “I can receive mercy but you can’t”, is completely Pharisaical, hypocritical, and unbiblical, while at the same time cheapens the price Jesus paid for you and I and the whole world.

We cannot afford to change the gospel simply because it seems convenient or to make it fit our personal preferences. If Jesus can turn to the thief on the cross and say, “today you will be with me in paradise”, He can also do the same for anyone that chooses to believe in Him, even when we have a hard time grappling with who they once were. Nevertheless, it is the Truth of the love of God. In the book of Exodus when Moses asked God to show him His glory, God marched around him and said this:

“And He said, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion.”” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33:19‬ ‭NASB

God will show grace, mercy and compassion on who ever he wants to, because He is God!!!!

So please, friends, Body of Christ of which Jesus is the head, let us get over the stumbling block of pride that the enemy is trying to wedge in our hearts and SEE with eyes that are cleansed by Jesus’ blood and stop doing the enemies work for him!

Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the WORLD!
